Design of a Single-Family Home

This project addresses the design of a single-family home between party walls, where natural lighting becomes the central focus. To achieve this, several interior courtyards and large glazed surfaces have been incorporated, maximizing the entry of light into all spaces.

The interior layout is highlighted by a double-height living room, directly connected to the kitchen-dining area and offering views of the nearby stream. This design seeks to visually integrate the social areas on the ground floor with the bedrooms located on the upper floor into a unified space.

Layout and Functionality

The program of requirements, defined by the client, aimed to create a spacious and functional home for four people, making the most of the plot’s potential. The ground floor houses the access areas, a garage, and a multifunctional area intended for informal gatherings and celebrations, with direct access to the rear patio where a private swimming pool is located.

This floor also includes all the spaces necessary to ensure comfort and functionality in daily life. Meanwhile, the upper floor accommodates three double bedrooms and an open terrace set back from the main façade, as stipulated by current regulations, providing greater privacy.

Exterior Design and Integration

The main façade respects the traditional volumetry of the surroundings through the use of an Arab-style tiled roof. However, the selection of modern materials for the railing and the composition of the exterior carpentry reflects a contemporary approach, anticipating an interior adapted to current needs.

This project combines tradition and modernity, creating a functional, luminous home perfectly integrated into its urban environment.
